Success factor

This practice-oriented one-day workshop in Swiss Employment Law is designed for non-Swiss HR professionals. It is conducted in English and will provide the participants with the most relevant information of Swiss Employment Law, its particularities, the deviations from the law in other jurisdictions, court cases and pitfalls for HR professionals. Coming from other jurisdictions, international HR professionals are often not familiar with the particularities of the Swiss Employment Law system, and soon notice that Swiss law differs significantly from the law in other jurisdictions. Working in HR in a Swiss company, it is paramount to know the law and the practice of the labour courts.

  • The fundamentals of Swiss Employment Law
  • Rights and duties during the application process
  • Concluding an employment contract – what can go wrong

  • Salary and bonus – when does the employer have to pay a bonus?

  • Paying salary during sickness – what are the duties of the employer?
  • Protective periods (Sperrfristen)
